In 2002, a small group of believers from a local Beloit church felt called to give back to their community in a meaningful way. Moved by a desire to serve, they created a day camp for children who might not otherwise experience the joy, friendship, and fellowship of a summer camp.

 

That vision became Outdoor Outreach, held at the Williams Tree Farm, in Rockton, IL.

 

Today, Outdoor Outreach continues to thrive through the generosity of our community. Every facility and resource is donated, and we remain entirely volunteer-run. To this day, we have no paid staff, and every person involved serves out of a desire to glorify God.

 

While the camp is supported by our local church, Outdoor Outreach is not a church camp. Our purpose goes beyond the camp experience. Our primary mission is to be mission-minded, reaching out to those in need right here in the

State-line area with the love of Christ.
